Freeze warning issued for northwest Nebraska

UNDATED (AP) - The National Weather Service has issued a freeze
warning for the northwest corner of the Nebraska Panhandle and for
southeast Wyoming.
The service said in a news release Monday afternoon that "some
of the coolest air of the season" is expected overnight.
The overnight low could hit the mid- to upper 20s in some low
spots - temperatures that could damage some plants.
The service's warning is in effect from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. MDT
Tuesday and includes the cities of Alliance, Chadron and Harrison.
